Carrying Out Insemination and Insertion of Embryos Using Insemination Equipment 

The activity consists in carrying out the insemination of purebred livestock and the insertion of embryos using insemination equipment.

Entrepreneurs intending to carry out the activity must obtain an approval for the professional activity from the Ministry of Agriculture. The approval shall be granted on the basis of a written application.

Application for approval to carry out the professional activity concerned under the Article 17 Act No. 154/2000 Coll.

  • The request shall be submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture.
  • A sample request is provided in Annex 1 to Decree No. 448/2006 Coll.

The application shall be supplemented with:

  • a documentary proof of professional education and the completion of a vocational course

Information on the conditions for obtaining approval and further information on licence proceedings

The Ministry shall grant the approval within 60 days.

The business may be conducted after fulfilling all the above stated requirements.
