This activity includes the marketing of reproductive material, commercial storage, sale, export and import in order to sell or any other transfer of rights to handle and forward reproductive material to another individual within the scope of business.
Applicants wanting to carry out this activity shall obtain a licence from the Ministry of Agriculture. A licence is granted on the basis of a written application.
Application for granting a licence to introduce into circulation forest reproductive material intended for forest revitalisation and afforestation
- The application is filed with Ministry of Agriculture
- It is recommended to use the prepared application form (in Czech)
- Application requirements and conditions for granting a licence
An individual supports his/her application with:
- A certified copy of the applicant’s professional education in forestry.
- A description of applicant’s previous forestry experience, stating the number of years of experience
- CZK 100 duty stamp
The legal body or individual that has appointed a responsible representative shall enclose:
- Excerpt from Commercial Register issued within 3 months or its certified copy (not to be documented by an individual who has appointed a responsible representative)
- A certified copy of the document on the professional forestry education of the responsible representative
- Description of the responsible representative’s previous forestry experience, stating the number of years of experience
- CZK 100 duty stamp

The ministry will issue its decision regarding issuance of a licence within 30 days / in more complex cases within 60 days
The business may be conducted after fulfilling all the above stated requirements.
