Guideposts for obtaining trade licences in the Czech Republic provide information on all obligations that applicants for licensed trade must comply with. The guideposts are prepared by professionals from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and include all four types of trade (permitted, vocational, professional and unqualified) for both natural and legal persons. The seat of the business (place of residence/domicile in the Czech Rep., EU member state, outside the EU) is also taken into account.

Guidelines for applying for a permitted trade authorisation. The trade authorisation is to be the authorisation of the state for carrying on the trade specified in the Trade Licensing Act. For obtaining the trade authorisation the entrepreneur must prove a professional competence and in certain cases, also to meet other condictions.
