Application requirements

In a written form

  1. Name, surname
  2. Place of business and identification number of the applicant, if the applicant is a natural person, or name, seat, or location of organisational unit, statutory body and identification number of the applicant, if the applicant is a legal entity
  3. The Application for Accreditation of an Educational Institute must also include an Application for Accreditation of at least one educational programme for the continuing education of pedagogical staff

The application shall include:

  • Authorisation for educational activities, typically trace licensing authorisation or deed of foundation
  • Overview of the personnel, technical and material resources of the applicant for accreditation of an educational institute in the area of continuing education of pedagogical staff
  • Overview of the activities to date of the applicant for accreditation
  • The educational programme whose accreditation is currently being requested

Type of licence

  • Grant of accreditation by the Ministry

Procedure for granting a licence

  • The application shall be assessed by the accreditation commission which shall recommend that the Ministry grant or not grant accreditation

Application clearing deadline

  • The Ministry shall decide within 120 days of the delivery of the application

Fees

  • No fee obligation is stipulated

Validity period of the licence

  • The valid period of the permit equals 6 years. The permit is automatically extended without the application of the accreditation holder, for the period of time for which, after the end of the applicable valid period of the accreditation of the educational institute, there is valid the accreditation of at least one educational programme of the specific educational institute.
