Czech Innovation Festival presented technological trends in the area of artificial intelligence

The festival offered a broad platform for Czech-German economic and research cooperation.
The Czech Innovation Festival, which presented the latest developments and technological trends in the area of artificial intelligence, was held in Berlin on 18-19 April 2018. The event was organised by the Czech Centre in cooperation with CzechInvest and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Berlin.
The Czech Innovation Expo, which took place in the course of the festival, familiarised German investors with the Czech Republic’s research and innovation environment. The visitors were also able to gain an overview of the new international Artificial Intelligence Centre in Prague and information on research projects in Brno. Avast Software presented the latest technologies in the area of digital security, while representatives of the companies Ackee and Good AI spoke about other innovations and advances in the field of machine intelligence.
The festival attracted more than 80 specialist visitors, who had the opportunity to participate in a discussion on the artificial-intelligence boom in management with established IT companies. Seven Czech start-up companies – Dataddo, Gettick, Mindpax, Roger, Soundware, Unico AI and VR Musashi – exhibited in connection with Czech Start-up Pitch.
