Special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation - licencing step by step

The activity consists of the eradication of infectious disease agents and carriers without using toxic chemical agents, the eradication of infectious disease agents and carriers in food-processing and agricultural plants and the eradication of infectious disease agents and carriers using toxic chemical agents.

Notification of a professional trade

The notification is submitted:

  1. at any trade licence office
  2. via public administration contact points (the so-called Czech POINT) – in Czech only
  3. electronically, via the information system provided by the Register of Trade Business

Form of submission

Notification may only be submitted using the so-called Single Registration Form.

Documents evidencing professional competence should be attached to the application.

Persons are professionally competent to perform special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation without using toxic or very toxic chemical substances and chemical agents, excluding special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation in food-processing and agricultural plants if they have:

  • completed a professional course or have otherwise acquired professional knowledge within the scope regulated by the implementing legal regulation (Decree No. 490/2000, Coll.)
  • successfully passed a test of professional competence before a committee and have a certificate of professional competence.

or

documents under section 7(5)(j), (k), (l) or (m) of the Trade Licensing Act;

Persons are professionally competent to perform special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation in food-processing and agricultural plants if they have:

  • completed a special master course or have otherwise acquired professional knowledge within the scope regulated by the implementing legal regulation (Decree No. 490/2000, Coll.),
  • successfully passed a test of professional competence before a committee and have a certificate of professional competence.

or

documents under section 7(5)(j), (k), (l) or (m) of the Trade Licensing Act;

Persons are professionally competent to perform special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation using toxic or very toxic chemical substances and chemical agents, excluding special protective disinfection, disinsectization, and disinfestation in food-processing and agricultural plants if they have:

  • completed a professional course for work with toxic and highly toxic chemical substances and chemical agents or have otherwise acquired professional knowledge within the scope regulated by the implementing legal regulation (Decree No. 490/2000, Coll.),
  • successfully passed a test of professional competence before a committee and have a certificate of professional competence.

or

documents under section 7(5)(j), (k), (l) or (m) of the Trade Licensing Act.

Besides these documents, no other facts need to be evidenced.

If the conditions for trade notification stipulated by the Trade Licensing Act have been met, the trade licence office shall make an entry in the Trade Register within 5 days of the delivery of the notification and shall issue a copy of the entry to the business person.

The business may be conducted after fulfilling all the above stated requirements.
