Validating the results of land surveys

Validating the results of land surveys is an activity in which a natural person with official authorization to validate the results of land surveys guarantees that the results of the survey activities validated by him and used for the administration and management of a cadastre, for state mapping and in construction work comply with legal regulations in terms of requirements and accuracy.
Official authorization (for validating the results of survey activities) is granted by application to the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre, and by the Ministry of Defence for validating the results of survey activities for national defence, after the statutory conditions are met:
- Completion of at least a university master’s degree program in land surveying
- Five years of experience in the Czech Republic after completing a college education
- Passing a professional qualifications exam
