Event Description

The Building Fairs Brno will be held from April 13 to 17, 2010 at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

According to the European Building Industry Federation, the Building Fairs Brno is the only international building fair in Central and Eastern Europe with a high proportion of industry professionals among its visitors (69 %). Within Europe, it has been established as one of the five biggest fairs in the industry for many years. It is a prestigious event of a global importance with approx. 1 500 exhibitors from the whole world, including most of the industry leaders in the domestic as well as world markets. Over 80 000 visitors from 44 countries visited the last fair held in 2009.

The Building Fairs are made up of the following relatively independent sections.

IBF Building Fair

IBF is the largest fair covering almost all sectors of the building industry, such as construction projects, construction trades and technologies, building materials and products, building machines, building constructions and others.

SHK BRNO International Fair of Technical Facilities in Buildings

SHK BRNO presents the latest trends in the sanitary engineering and bathroom fixtures and fittings, and a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers of heat engineering, airing technique and air-conditioning systems, fittings, piping, pumps and other technical facilities in buildings. Within the Electro section, it also presents lighting technology, electric installation and integrated systems of buildings

Eden 3000

The building centre Eden 3000 provides information about innovations and the latest trends in development of modern housing. There are assembled fully equipped houses all the year round. The centre also includes a sample room of building materials and a consultancy centre for housing and construction, including information on financial support.
