Business Delegation organised by the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic headed by the Speaker of Senate of the Czech Republic during his visit to Zambia in 2024. The business delegation participated in EU-Zambia Copper Value Chain Forum in Copperbelt, Kitwe. The business delegation visited one of the largest functional mine and processing plant in Kitwe (Mopani), participated in the Forum which was launched by the President of Zambia and in which 8 ministers and over 200 business representatives participated (2/3 Zambian, 1/3 European). During the Forum, business delegation participated in a number of panel discussion to better understand the current situation in Zambia, held B2B meeting with previous matchmaking done via website app, presented their portfolio on Czech Stand and participated in two networking receptions, VIP dinner, networking lunches and coffee breaks.
