Maximum length of working time
The maximum length of working time including overtime must not exceed an average of 48 hours per one working week for the period of 4 months.
Minimum length of a rest period
In general, workers are entitled to 11 hours of rest after working for 8 hours. However, specific provisions apply to certain professions on the basis of special implementing regulations and collective agreements.
Minimum length of holidays
The minimum length of paid holidays in the private sector is set individually on the basis of collective negotiations whose provisions then apply to the whole sector (not only one enterprise). Employees in the public sector are entitled to 30 working days of holidays.
The minimum wage may not be set for all employees as the basic salary and extra payments are set in collective agreements of each sector.
