Scope

The Act, among other things, regulates the rights and obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors of measuring instruments. Special obligations relate to the category of measuring instruments referred to as specified measuring instruments. The specified measuring instruments are subject to national regulation. The types of specified measuring instruments are exhaustively listed in the type list, which forms an annex to Decree No. 345/2002 Coll., laying down measuring instruments which are subject to mandatory verification and subject to type approval
