Main information about the service
In the case of pressure equipment or assemblies intended for experimental purposes, the Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing may, in justified cases, permit their placement on the market or putting into service in the Czech Republic without the conformity assessment for such pressure equipment otherwise required for its placing on the market or putting into service.

The Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing issues permits through an administrative procedure. In such a case, the procedure will be conducted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code. The administrative procedure begins with the submission of a complete application The Administrative Procedure Code sets a deadline of 30 days for the processing of an application.

What do you need when solving the service electronically
To obtain a permit, you need to deliver a reasoned application that must have the requisites specified in Section 45(1) of the Administrative Procedure Code. The application may be written in free form.

The application may be submitted to the Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing via data box or by e-mail with a recognized electronic signature. The application may be sent by e-mail to podatelna@unmz.cz. Data box identifier: zdkaa2i.

If a permit is not granted by the Office for the said equipment, the requirements in Act No 90/2016 and the relevant government decree on its implementation will apply for the placement on the market or putting into service of such equipment. If such equipment is placed on the market or put into service without these requirements being met, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, as the supervisory body, may proceed in accordance with Section 49 of Act No 90/2016.
