The district mining authorities check the professional competence of natural persons to test, overhaul, repair, install or operate the reserved technical facilities in the domain of mining and issue them with a certificate to that effect.

You are a natural person who intends to carry out the testing, overhaul, repair, installation or operation of reserved technical facilities. These are reserved technical facilities that serve the performance of mining activities, activities carried out by mining methods and for the handling of explosives.

When to address the service
Back to topIn good time before the intended implementation of activities on dedicated technical facilities. The deadlines for issuing certificates are governed by the Administrative Procedure Code. It is also necessary to consider the time required for the examination of professionalism by an examination before the district mining office (cca 2 months before the intended performance of the activity).
How to get the service
What do you need when solving the service electronically
For electronic communication with district mining authorities, it is necessary to have the relevant documentation scanned, which is attached to the scanned application. The content of the application is governed by the Administrative Procedure Code. There is no form, the application is written in free form.
The application shall be accompanied by electronic means:
- proof of integrity and reliability,
- proof of experience and education,
- proof of fee payment.

It is possible to communicate with the district mining authorities via e-mail, data box and in certain cases (including certificates for activities on dedicated technical facilities) also via the forms of the public portal AIS SBS.

The fee for electronically processed service
An administrative fee of CZK 1,000 is paid for the issuance of certificate. The fee must be paid no later than on the day of the professional competence verification. For electronic submission, the fee is paid by bank transfer.

For paper communication with district mining authorities, it is necessary to have the relevant documentation in paper form, which is attached to the application in paper form. The content of the application is governed by the Administrative Procedure Code.
The application shall be accompanied by a document:
- proof of integrity and reliability,
- proof of experience and education,
- proof of fee payment.
Where to solve the service
The district mining authorities can be contacted by post made to the address of the registered office of the relevant district mining authority, or by personal filing at the filing office or orally in the minutes. In certain cases (including certificates for activities on dedicated technical facilities), it is also possible to communicate via printed forms from the AIS SBS public portal.
