Main information about the service

Prior to the placing on the market of weapons referred to in Section 6(2) of Act No 156/2000, the person intending to place these weapons on the market must submit to the Czech Proof House for Firearms and Ammunition a specified firearm for verification that the specified firearm meets the technical requirements, that the technical documentation is complete, and that the submitter has calibrated gauges and tools and has a technical control system in place. This is known as the homologation process. The specified firearms are not subject to homologation if a maximum of five units of this weapon are to be placed on the market in one year.
