Main information about the service
To obtain a certificate of professional competence to handle pyrotechnic articles in categories F4, T2 or P2, you must complete professional training and pass the final exam after submitting an application for this certificate.
Professional training is provided by the Czech Proof House for Firearms and Ammunition in cooperation with the Czech Mining Authority.
The professional training comprises 40 teaching hours. The lessons are 45 minutes long. There are theoretical and professional parts. The professional training ends with an exam, which consists of a written test, and oral and practical exams.

This service applies to you if you want to handle pyrotechnic articles in categories F4, T2 or P2, or if you want to operate the tied trade 'Purchase, sale, destruction, and disposal of pyrotechnic articles in categories P2, T2 and F4, and work with fireworks' and if you have already submitted an application for a certificate of professional competence to handle pyrotechnic articles with the Czech Mining Authority.
Service outcome
The service output is a report on the course and result of the exam, issued by the examination commission. This report is a requisite for the issue of a certificate of professional competence to handle pyrotechnic articles.

You need to submit an application to secure a place in the professional training.

The application may be submitted to the Czech Proof House for Firearms and Ammunition via data box or by email with a recognized electronic signature. You may send your application by email to podatelna@cuzzs.cz.
As soon as you have submitted your application, you will be notified of the start of the professional training and asked to make the payment for such training. Payment must be made before the start of the training, at the latest in cash on the spot before the start of the training.
Due to capacity limitations, the order of accepted applications decides on inclusion in the professional training.
